PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Project Overview
The Community Assessment: Youth @ Risk in Virtual Spaces project came to fruition due to a noticeable increase in technology access by youth through various platforms and a lack of knowledge and preparedness in how to educate and support developing minds, especially when it pertains to pornography, virtual communication, harassment, exploitation, and other forms of online issues.
This project is launching a community assessment on preparedness, knowledge, needs, and comfort of parents/caregivers supporting youth as they navigate virtual spaces as well as hear from youth themselves.
